DAILY DOSE OF YELLOW

It seems as if this weekend was a teaser for what is to come. The days are getting warmer and the mornings are slowly getting brighter too.

So in anticipation of SUMMER here is my daily dose of yellow along with it a recipe for a great frozen margarita. - Garth

Frozen Margarita
This version has a nice, light, sour lime taste but there are many more variations with almost any flavour you may want. If the mix is too thick once blended, add more juice: if it's too thin, add more ice.

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of ice
  • 1 1/2 oz tequila
  • 1/2 oz Triple Sec1/2 oz lime juice
  • 3 oz sour mix
  • lime wedge for garnish
  • salt for rimming glass (optional)

Preparation:
Pour the ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth. If desired, salt the rim of a chilled margarita glass. Pour contents into the glass. Garnish with the lime wedge.
