Garth is obsessed with everything and anything that is yellow and gets hypnotised by things that go round and round, such as the drum of a washing machine. His ultimate gift would be a yellow washing machine as he finds watching his washing machine very cathartic.
Besides his obsession, Garth has a love for textiles, good music, great design and clothes. Mountains fascinate him. Garth has no real care for art or good food but he knows what he likes when he sees or tastes it.
Garth works in the textile industry that supplies the décor and hospitality industry and it is this very reason that his knowledge of textiles and yarns and their applications is vast but this does not mean that he is not keen to learn more. Garth's other areas of interest include history, biology and psychology.
Mart is the newest addition to his life and part of this blog will be the journey they take together.

Having successfully clawed his way out of the trailer park - okay so Springs is not a trailer park, but where mullets and shopping barefoot is still accepted as norm, one could easily be confused! Martin is slowly on his way to becoming a design guru.
When Martin was little he was asked what he wanted to be. His reply: “I want to make everything pretty”, and that is exactly what he is trying to do. With music, movies and art as his love Martin pursued a career in graphic design.
He lives with a Ginger and with Garth at his side; Martin is by far the coolest export from Springs, besides Garth’s mom of course!
A FACT ABOUT G&M
Garth is the older of the two and is worldlier and wiser. He knows that England is a separate island from the Continent, there are actual kidneys in a steak and kidney pie and that Billy Graham is an American evangelist!
