Last night Mart was woken by thunder and some lighting but no rain. As he put it " it was rain foreplay last night!"The wind has started to pick up in the Highveld and this is making both of us long for the first rains and an afternoon snooze.
On Wednesday after supper (delicious macaroni and cheese made by culinary genius Mama Wastie) we all got talking about afternoon snoozes and how the windows should be wide open with the curtains gently billowing in the wind. If you have never had never experience the gentle breeze on your skin while lying in bed you are missing out.
