Yesterday the story broke that police arrested a group of people (including two vets) who were involved in poaching rhinos. Poaching is a problem in South Africa and many people think that they are helpless to do anything. Woolworths is changing this misconception.Woolworths have launched a limited edition reusable 'Rhino Bag' with R10 from each sale going towards anti-poaching equipment and support.
Cape Town based designer group Pitchblack was responsible for the bag's artwork, which asks us to 'imagine no rhinos' and includes this sobering equation: 'The Big 5 minus the rhino equals the Big 4'.
